Sriracha Sauce

Last week my best friend and I had a “preserve the harvest party”. Of the many things we made, the homemade sriracha sauce has become my new addiction.

I had no idea that making your own hot sauce was a. so easy and b. much more delicious than store bought hot sauce. Plus, the ingredients for this version is very clean! My strong recommendation is that you use gloves when handling the hot peppers and remember not to touch anything especially your eyes/mouth. The oil on the hot pepper is very painful if you cut 1lb without gloves (yes, I know from personal experience).
